Mum bought a packet of popiah as snack from the Taiping popiah stall in DDP Food Court today. The popiah is priced at RM 1.70 per roll. I tried a few pieces of the popiah. Not bad. Do give it a try if you happen to drop by here.
The popiah is generously filled with ingredients such as egg strips, bean sprouts, turnips and bean curd cubes. All these ingredients marinated nicely. Mum chose to dress the popiah with sweet sauce instead of chilli sauce. The sweetness make the popiah skin nice to eat on its own. The cucumber strips in the popiah give the popiah a crunchy texture.
