Pasta Zanmai @ Mid Valley

I was craving for some dessert on a Sunday afternoon. Thus, I headed to Pasta Zanmai to have a lovely dessert meal.

 Name Choco & Vanilla Crepe (RM 12 + 16 % tax = RM 13.90)
This dessert is actually "Nama" chocolate ice-cream wrapped in Crepe served with Hokkaido Chocolate Cake & Vanilla Ice-Cream....I personally didn't think this is just a normal dessert, nothing to shout about..........

IPPUDO @ The Gardens Mall

IPPUDO was founded in 1985 in Japan’s ramen capital of Hakata by Shigemi Kawahara, the internationally renowned Ramen King and CEO of Chikaranomoto Company, which encompasses some of Japan’s finest restaurants. IPPUDO arrived in Malaysia in 2013.

This is the interior of Ippudo in The Gardens.

Sesame seed, chilli powder & black pepper....The sesame seed being kept in a cute mini grinder.......

Akamaru Shinaji added with Tamago (RM 30)

This is IPPUDO’s original tonkotsu broth enhanced with special blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil. Served with thin noodles, pork belly, kikurage and spring onions. I like the soup very much as it is very flavorful. I also added lots of sesame powder to make the soup more fragrant and tasty.

One can choose whether to have the noodles in soft, normal, hard or very hard texture. I chose the normal texture but I still find it a bit hard for me. In the future, I will try their soft texture noodles instead.

Yummy pork belly slice....tender with a thin layer of fatty goodness

The tamago is actually a salted soft-boiled egg. Look at the beautiful yellow runny yolk. I mixed the yolk with the soup to make it creamier and thicker.

Roast Stuff @ Crown Palace

Yea yea, my third post on Crown Palace. For this round, mum and I tried their roast stuff rice. I had the double mix rice while mum had the triple mix rice.

 Triple mix set (RM 9.00)
Consisted of roast pork, roast duck and char siew.

 Double mix rice (RM 7.50)
Consisted of roast duck and roast pork. Really really bad choice....Both the roast duck and roast pork skin is soft and soggy. Not good at all. I think they must have prepared them very early. When we order, they just heat it up causing the skin to be soggy. I will never go back for their roast stuffs.
