Roast Stuff @ Crown Palace

Yea yea, my third post on Crown Palace. For this round, mum and I tried their roast stuff rice. I had the double mix rice while mum had the triple mix rice.

 Triple mix set (RM 9.00)
Consisted of roast pork, roast duck and char siew.

 Double mix rice (RM 7.50)
Consisted of roast duck and roast pork. Really really bad choice....Both the roast duck and roast pork skin is soft and soggy. Not good at all. I think they must have prepared them very early. When we order, they just heat it up causing the skin to be soggy. I will never go back for their roast stuffs.

Revisit to Crown Palace @ OUG

Yep, I am back for Crown Palace's 50 % discount promo dishes. It is definitely a place worth to eat with the 50 % discount.

Foo Yung Fried Egg (RM 18, after 50 % = RM 9)
Er....nothing special.............

Curry Mix Vegetable (RM 18, after 50 %= RM 9)
The ingredients used are tofu pok, brinjals, ladies fingers and cabbages. I like the curry gravy, whereby I can eat the gravy with the plain rice alone. Yummm.....

Thai Style Fish (RM 26, after 50 % = RM 13)
The Tilapia fish is fried until very crispy. I actually ate the bones as well because they are so crispy. Taste wise, itis ok. I find it a bit too spicy for me but mum and bro likes them.

Total damage = RM 36.30 (including 2 large rice: RM 2.40 + 1 small rice : RM 0.70 + 2 warm water: RM 1.00 & 1 chinese tea: RM 0.50)

Crown Palace @ OUG

Two months ago, I visited Crown Palace Restaurant with my mum for dinner. Crown Palace is actually a Chinese restaurant which serves Dim Sum in the morning till lunch and at night, it acts as a place to eat Chinese dishes. While I was there, they are having 50 % discount for selected dishes. Thus, we ordered all dishes which have 50 % discount.

Stir fried sweet potato leave (RM 8, after 50 % = RM 4)
The vege is plain fried with garlic. Quite good.

Claypot Tilapia (RM 28, after 50% = RM 14)
This is my first time eating Tilapia cooked in a claypot. It is actually cooked in a herbal soup broth. Wine were added in to make the soup more delicious. The fish given is fresh but I think they overcooked it as the flesh is too soft. Overall, I quite like this dish.

Kopitan Classic @ OUG

Went to Kopitan Classic with mum for dinner last week. The ambiance is quite good with aircond but I doubt I will be back again cause the food is a bit pricey. I can easily get similar food at a cheaper cheaper price from other shops.

 Play area for kids

Black Pepper Seafood Udon (RM 9.80)
The ingredients used in this fried udon are 2 medium sized prawns, squid, chicken slices and egg. The taste is actually quite good whereby the black pepper taste is just right. However, it is quite oily.

Hainan Chicken Rice Set (RM 10.90)
This chicken rice set came with a bowl of rice, soup and bean sprout. According to mum, the chicken is cooked too long and lack of chicken taste. She didn't like this set. But the soup is good as it is carrot soup. The bean sprout is nothing to shout about as it is just boiled bean sprout mixed with siy sauce.

Total damage = RM 23.20 (including 2 warm water: RM 1.20 & 6% service tax)

Youmiqi Cuisine Restaurant @ Old Klang Road

The interior of the restaurant

 Nice dining set

Fried lettuce with fermented beancurd = RM 18
This is my first time eating lettuce fried with fermented beancurd....Initially, I thought it will be very salty because of the fermented beancurd, but I was wrong. The taste is just right, not too salty and is very fragrant. The gravy itself is so good to eat with plain rice.

Steam fish mouth with black bean sauce = RM 30
I like the smooth gelatinous fish mouth texture, but unfortunately it has very strong fishy taste. In order to overcome the fishy taste, I need to eat with the black bean sauce.

The price of the food here is actually quite pricey but has a wide range of yummy dishes....I will be back for more.....
