Put Zhai Gou

I always see actors and actresses in TVB series buying put zhai gou as snacks and indeed put zhai gou is originated from Hong Kong. This snack dessert is a type of mini rice puddings made mainly from rice flour and sugar served on toothpicks.

The put zhai gou stall in OUG pasar malam sells three types of this dessert. They are the red bean, corn and pumpkin put zhai gou. Each piece is sold at RM 0.80. I tried their red bean an d corn flavored put zhai gou. Both the put zhai gou has a sticky and soft texture and not so sweet in taste. Just nice for my liking.

The red bean put zhai gou

I personally preferred the red bean put zhai gou because it really has a strong red bean aroma and contains lots of unmashed red beans to bite on. Thumb up.

The corn put zhai gou is not bad either as it contains lots of corns to bite on. Would be better if the corn aroma is stronger.
