Happy Hometown Restaurant @ Klang

Had a good dinner with mum and aunt at Happy Hometown Restaurant at Klang. Too have a better outer view of the restaurant, please click on the picture above....Didn't managed to capture a good shot of the shop cause was on a hurry to go home........

According to aunt, this restaurant is famous for their Claypot Taufu Soup; thus we ordered this as one of our dishes.

Claypot Taufu Soup aka Taufu Kang (RM 14)
Not bad.....tasted like sharks fin soup without the fins. Ingredients include crab meat, taufu and egg....I had 2 big bowls of it to warm my tummy...............

Stir fried Chives Flower @ "Kau Choi Fa" (RM 10)
This is my first time eating "Kau Choi Fa" fried with dried taufu....I quite like this dish cause it tasted like "Chong" @ green onion but less pungent.

Steamed Lala (RM 15)
The lala is steamed with chopped ginger and wine.....The broth is very tasty to eat with plain white rice....yummy yummy.......but too bad the lala is over steamed; a bit tough to chew.........

Hakka Braised Pork with Black Fungus (RM 18)

Quite tasty but also very oily.....Definitely will die of heart problem if eat this dish everyday.....lol....

Total damage for the night including 4 bowls of rice (RM3.40) + 3 warm water (RM0.90) was RM61.30

Jade Pot Steamboat Restaurant @ Old Klang Road

Last Friday was my first time trying out the Dim Sum at Jade Pot Steamboat Restaurant at Old Klang Road. Before this, I have tried their steamboat, which is not bad but a bit pricey. For this round, mum, aunt and I went for their Dim Sum as our lunch. I managed to get the Dim Sum vouchers worth RM 50 by paying just half the price from Groupon. The Dim Sums they offered were quite good but the service were not that good. They should train up their staffs for better customer service. Following are what we had that day:

Fried Radish Cake (RM 4.80)

Fish Maw and Sea Cucumber in the seafood paper pot......not bad.....

Our drink: 3 glasses of warm water (RM3) & One Ice Lemon Ribena (RM3.80 ~ very refreshing)

Total damage including 3 wet towel (RM3) & 10% service charge = RM 67.75 (paid only RM42.75 because of the Groupon Voucher)
