I got the following Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun from the Chee Cheong Fun stall in Desa Danau food court. One can either choose to have Char Siew or prawns as filing. But I chose to have two of those ingredients together.
A small portion of the Chee Cheong Fun also known as rice noodle (RM 4.00)
The chilli paste to eat together with the cheong fun. Taste really good when eaten together with the cheong fun. Not spicy at all but fragrant with the aroma of dried shrimps.
Oops....I drowned the cheong fun with sweet soy sauce.. Lol... The lady at the stall actually keep the sauce warm in a steamer and only take it out when needed. So thoughtful of her. Luckily, the sauce is not salty, if not I would have destroyed the cheong fun by putting too much of the sauce.
I found that the cheong fun's skin is little too thick for me. Would be better if it is thinner. There also isn't much ingredients in it. Just only 3 prawns and some Char Siew cubes.
