Thanks to Groupon deal, mum and I get to eat at Le Porc Dor in Old Kland Road for a dinner meal at a cheap price. We got the meal for two people at RM 19.00 instead of RM 32.00. But the portion given for each dish is quite small. According to them, food in Le Porc Dor are cooked without adding MSG which is good because this means we can eat healthily over here.
Winter Melon Barley Soup
I liked the barley bits in the soup but the soup taste weird. It is like those soup being kept overnight.

Chinese sausages with steamed chicken and black fungus
The steamed chicken was steamed into a soft texture. I do not need to use force to remove the meat from its bone. The sausage were quite fragrant. Nice to eat with plain rice. The combination of chinese sausage with chicken actually tasted quite similar to "loh mai kai" also known as glutionous chicken rice.

Steamed pork slices with yam
The yam slices were cooked into a very soft texture. Just the way I like. But I find the taste is quite salty and the pork were quite oily with a layer of fat on the surface of the pork, without much meat on the pork slices.

Vegetables
The vegetable used is choy sum. A very simple vege prepared by blanching in hot water and added with some oyster sauce. I actually enjoyed this dish because it is not oily at all. Indeed a healthy way to detox all the oily dishes above, especially the steamed pork slices with yam.
