Genmai Cha (RM 2.90)
For drink, both of us had the cold Genmai Cha; also known as Japanese Roasted Rice Tea. Er.....the tea doesn't really have taste....Don't really like it............

Dragon Roll (RM 14.90)
Dragon roll is actually fried shrimp sushi roll with avocado topped with fish roe............The green layers of the avocado resembles the scales of a dragon; therefore it is given the name Dragon Roll. The shrimp being used is quite meaty and fresh...yummy yummy.......

Mickey Mouse Through the Years @ Mid Valley

Went to Mid Valley few weeks ago to see the Mickey Mouse Through The Years exhibition. Celebrities, artists, members of the media, art college students, mall tenants and corporate partners were invited to participate with their own creative interpretation of Mickey. A total of 350 wonderful Mickey figurines were displayed.

I took lots of Mickey Mouse figurine pictures. Do enjoy some the pics ya. For complete collection of my pictures, please go to my facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.10151790881580154.871115.572195153&type=3

Dinner at Medan Selera Kheng Heong

I recently had my dinner with mum at the newly opened Kheng Heong in Jalan Syed Putra. Service was good. After you sit down, immediately they will come over to take your order. Food also arrived very fast; within 10 to 15 minutes the food arrived at our table. The bad point is I think their price is on the high side for the ordinary dishes that we ordered. Since there were only two of us, we ordered one vege and meat dish.

Siong Tong Yin Choi (RM 10)
The taste of the soup is actually quite good. Herbs like "Kei Chi" were inserted to make the soup more flavorful. Besides that, century egg and achovies were also added into this dish. But, unfortunately, the veg were not washed properly. There are still bits of sands in them. Sigh..............

Sweet and Sour Pork (RM 15)
Very ordinary, nothing special about it. Lots of sliced tomatoes were added in, which is a good thing for me as I love tomatoes. The pork were a bit tough for me. Besides, there are lots of flour being used to fry the pork. Too much flour, too little meat.......

Total damage including 2 glasses of plain water (RM 0.60) + 3 rice (RM 3.60) is RM 29.20

Hand Made Mee Sua (RM 6.50)
The mee sua is served in a small bowl with a thick broth and added with 3 raw oysters and shredded chicken. The mee sua's broth is nice but unfortunately, the osyters were not fresh; sour taste. Luckily I did not have diarrhea after eating it. For those who like spicy food, you can request for more chilli paste (put in a spoon).

Food Photo

Yes, I finish up everything............hehe.............

P/S: They suggest one to eat with just using spoon without chopstick as this is the traditional way of eating mee sua.

Hazelnut Macaron @ Mid Valley

Food Photo
The little stall selling all sorts of macarons and cup cakes..

This is my 2nd time buying macaron from this place. For this round, I tried their hazelnut macaron. The hazelnut flavor is there but it is too sweet for my liking.

Chocolate Mint Cake @ Pastry Culture

Since I have started working in Tropicana, I've become a fan of Pastry Culture's cakes. But is slightly disappointed with the Chocolate Mint with Irish Cream cake. The chocolate flavor is good but the cake doesn't really have mint taste and the white chocolate decoration on top taste weird.

Annin Tofu @ Waku Waku

To end my lunch at Waku Waku, I ordered Annin Tofu as my desert. A very light desert with a texture very similar to soft and creamy silken tofu and not too sweet.
